I placed two orders with Best Buy on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 for a Switch which was scheduled to arrive on April 10, 2020. I placed a separate order for a digital copy of ACNH and a screen protector which were both scheduled to arrive on April 9, 2020. I placed the orders separately because I didn't want the Switch to be removed from my cart (it's in very high demand right now and it was removed fom my cart multiple times prior).
I was on Live Chat for much of the day waiting to talk to multiple representatives who were all helpful (I have copies of the transcripts) because it seemed like my Switch was going to come in late. The last representative I talked to told me that representatives will be available to talk on Live Chat until 11:30PM CST even though I am running on EST, and they couldn't file a claims report until 9PM CST. The last representative I talked to gave me a reference number so I wouldn't have to explain my situation over and over again. I tried to get back online to talk to a Live Chat representative around 10EST and it says that it's offline hours. My second order also didn't ship completely and the second item in the package is also delayed until 4/14/2020.
I just want some clarification on when to expect my order. I would really like to have it and not go through any refund process, especially because I purchased a digital, nonrefundable code with ACNH. As of 4/10/2020 at 10:18PM EST, it says that my order expected to arrive today on Best Buy and UPS. I would pick up if it means I could have this item in my hands ASAP. This is my first time using delivery for a pricey item on Best Buy and it's turning out to be more stressful. My friends and family are shocked because we typically have good experiences with in-store purchases at Best Buy.
I know everyone is doing their part during the pandemic to remain as healthy as possible, but my birthday is tomorrow, I return to work on Monday, and I was hoping to have a little time to unwind on my birthday and play with the Switch before returning.

Second, Happy Birthday, Birthday Buddy! My birthday was on April 10. Animal Crossing Madness is here, and I admit that, after work, I celebrated my birthday on my island. I completely get wanting to have that experience and escape, especially during these times.
