I received a duplicate item in a seperate package unsolicited via UPS. I see the FTC says that I am free to consider it a gift (https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0181-unordered-merchandise). I also saw that on the Consumerist website, that when a customer received 4 extra iPads in an order they were encouraged to keep or donate them with Best Buy's blessing (https://consumerist.com/2012/12/05/when-we-ordered-one-ipad-and-best-buy-sent-five/). I am assuming unless I hear otherwise that the same would apply in this case as the item in question is worth much less than those extra iPads ! I have to say that is a generous policy, but a great way to make a customer loyal for life!
One other thing, I would love to see BB bring back email support as it is much more convenient than waiting on hold for phone support, and online chat can be really frustrating.
