Delivery delays

Made a purchase under false pretenses that I would receive the item Friday October 27, 2017. This morning I received an email saying now it would arrive on Monday due to a shipping delay from UPS. Only reason I ordered for shipping instead of store pick-up is because I was promised this delivery date so I looked around on the details and noticed that bestbuy didn't ship the item until late last night and now is trying to blame UPS. Naturally I called customer service hoping to get some answers. What I mistake it was to think they could help I was transferred around to four different reps each with their own story about why my item wouldn't arrive when promised. Two agents blamed UPS, one blamed the warehouse and the last one blamed me saying that even though the item said it would arrive Friday 27th on standard shipping I should have chosen expedite. Finally I decided to request a supervisor and was put on hold for 17 mins only to be transferred back to the main menu. Worst shopping experience ever and I just want to know why I can't have my item for the weekend Smiley Sad

Welcome back to the forum and thanks for posting! I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t receive your item on time. Shipping delays are no fun and I’ll do my best to look into this for you.

 

Using the information you provided when you registered for the forums, I believe I was able to pull up the order in question. According to the tracking information, these items were delivered yesterday, October 28. I understand any frustration you have about not receiving this on release date and I wholeheartedly apologize for the delay as well as your experience with our customer service when you were trying to get answers.

 

I hope you are otherwise able to enjoy your new game!

I actually haven't received it and spoke to someone on 28th and was still told Monday 31st.

Thanks for providing me this update and I’m sorry to hear you didn’t receive the game. Just to confirm, are you missing both the game as well as the coin? It looks like they were being delivered in separate packages and per the FedEx notes possibly left at a leasing office. If you do not receive these items by October 31, can you please send me a private message with your email, full name, delivery address, and phone number? I’ll do everything I can to look into what options we have to rectify this.

I got the coin which was schedules for the 28th. Yes the coin was left at my building's office. Thats the only package they had for me i will check back with them on Monday since they are closed today and UPS doesn't tell me where it was delivered to.I hadn't checked the game before because the last update I got said schedules for Monday. I just checked my tracking I do see that it was switched to 28th on the game and shows delivered now. Not sure why phone rep was still telling me Monday.
