Deliv fail—no call, no show

Man, it’s like it is amature hour at best buy. I figured—covid 19 has made amazon unreliable, why not give someone else a shot? Had no idea no other company can deliver packages.  After receiving an email today that my order was on its way, I checked the status and to my surprise, Deliv—who, by the way, I was unaware would be delivering my package—had already attempted to deliver and—gasp—discovered that my apartment, like all apartments, has a locked door! This was a big surprise to me as I live in a basement apartment with a window directly facing the street where deliveries and all cars come in. Also surprising, that a delivery company had never encountered a locked apartment door or had to contact anyone when delivering. 

 

At no point did Deliv or anyone attempt to contact me. Not by email or phone. Had they, and I could have walked the two steps out of my apartment to get the package. Don’t use this service and don’t use Best Buy. If you feel bad that they are going out of business and will be joining the ranks of blockbuster soon, know it isn’t Amazon’s fault, it’s the clowns running best buy that are driving it into the ground.

 

What a joke. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere (and advising everyone I know to do the same). 

 

P.S. Deliv garnishes the first week wages to pay for a background check for their employees.  So it is also a terrible company.
