Delayed order : could not cancel

It was was and has been a pretty bad experience buying from best buy. If the order is delayed why dont you give customer a chance to cancel right away. Spoiled my weekend when I was expecting the order on 8 June as promised. Still on 11 June after five days , still waiting for the order. The package is available on other store for one day delievery including best buy and I am waiting  for five days. They are not ready to cancel because order is in transit. I am calling from the date when order was not even shipped due to delay. Why could not you cancel and refund so that I buy from other store and get the same day

When I order something online, I want to receive my products as soon as possible. I apologize for any unexpected delays with your order. Online orders can typically be cancelled within 30 minutes of creation. At that point, an order will begin to process through our systems, and may not be available for cancellation. Well within 30 min of order I did not know it will be delayed. I came to know only on delievery date that I wont get it so I wanted to cancel and because i was unavailable post that date. Now my order is dealyed for days and I see that same item is avaiable for the same day delievey if I order fresh. Is it justified. If there is an issue from best buy why customer is not provided cancellation option. Its like my long due order will arrive after five days but I order fredh I can get same day from same store .. weird.. still waiting for my order!!

Sometimes, if an order is taking longer than expected to process, our systems will send out an automated delay email with a pushed out delivery date (usually about a month from the date the order was created). This information is often inaccurate, and I would encourage you to check your order status online to the most up-to-date status information for your order. In the event that the order is processing or has already shipped, we may be unable to cancel your order. You are still welcome to send that Private Message to me with the requested information if you would like confirmation of your current order status.

I already know what you informed. When I am giving some feedback that means whatever way you are following is incorrect. That means your existence rule framework need modificatins . You need changes. If you fail to deliver on time, you should give customer optins rather than saying " Just wait and keep checking for your order " If you understood the message , reply..

There has been no use of this forum .after so many message exchage... No help at all. Just get message - Wait for your delivery endlessly or wait for failed delivery and they it would return back and then we can refund you .. Wait endlessly..Coincidently I see the price of product is increased a lot now and even if they cancel its loss for me.. Lets see

Hello,

 

With the onslaught of packages stolen from many homes, some shipping carriers may deem certain deliveries as unsafe to leave should no one be available. As mentioned in my previous PM, should no one be available during normal shipping hours FedEx does offer the ability to leave your package at a local partner location, which can be something like a local pharmacy or retailer, so you can conveniently pick it up when you are available. This ensures the package is safe. However, please note this is managed by FedEx directly so I would suggest reaching out to them to coordinate this service. Should the package not be able to be delivered and be returned to us please let us know and we'll see what options we have at that point. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Why cannot you disptach a replacement with one day delievery thar reaches me on Saturday. I could not get it in fedex office as well as package moved from there. It has been a pain for me running around. I am regretting now to order from bestbuy.
