Delayed Delivery

I ordered a birthday gift from Best Buy and timed it so that the gift would be delivered on the recipients birthday on a Saturday. The night before it was scheduled to be delivered, I get an email from FedEx saying the package was delayed until Monday. I called both Best Buy and FedEx to figure out why the package was delayed and discovered that Best Buy did not select the Saturday delivery option and now the shipment could only be delivered on a weekday. This is incredibly upsetting and inconvenient.

Welcome to our community forums and thank you for letting us know about your experience with this order. I know it's never fun to get a notification that your package is delayed, especially when it's a gift. While we do our best to provide the most accurate shipping estimates delayed can happen. I'm sorry for the disappointment that this causes.  While we are typically unable to make any modification to an order once it has shipped I would be glad to see if we can be of any assistance.
