Customer service and Preorder

So here we go again. Best Buy has started the ridiculous preorder for Galaxy Z. My friend preordered one but after a couple hours, it says on the website that the unit is sold.

We tried calling their customer service for 30min. After the long wait, the agent didn't even have any idea about the issue.

Why can't you learn from last year's terrible preorder for the Note 10?

There isn’t an infinite amount of pre-orders. There’s likely a designated amount and thus it’s not available anymore after so many pre-orders. I’d monitor the availability as it can change often.

Well if something is already reserved, why would you sell it to someone? It happened to me when I was ordering the note 10+. And they always have problems with the communication between their stocks and sales management. What a shame.
