To Best Buy Customer Service,
I have had a very difficult experience trying to get a rowing machine fulfilled from Best Buy. On September 8th, I ordered and Echelon Smart Rowing Machine from Best Buy.com with an estimated arrival date of 9/18. This date came and went, and the order was delayed until September 25th. Since that date, the item has been in 'Delayed' status.
I have called Best Buy asking for updates on this issue 7 times, and attempted to get updates by chat 3 times.
I have been told multiple times that the rower will arrive the corresponding friday, and that has not happened. I have been told the item is "acknowledged by vendor" multiple times, with no update available. I have had two different Best Buy associates attempt to cancel my order without my consent while I was on hold with them. I have also been told to contact Echelon.
I have contacted Echelon multiple times and they will not give me any information about "Vendor orders" and refuse to even look into the issue as it's not purchased through them.
This rower is available for sale at Walmart and other retailers, with a delivery date within a week. I have been waiting over a month for some action by Best Buy and have not recieved anything helpful.
Please, can I get some help with this issue? I would prefer to purchase through Best Buy, but this is being made excessively difficult.
