Customer No Service

I placed an order for the Columbia Classics 4h collection.

Kept checking on it and the BB app said it was due to be delivered on time

Next thing that I received was a notice of delays with the order and that it would be cancelled if not deliverable on time.

Call Customer Service. Said I would wait for it, but don't cancel. Put on hold, then got disconnected.

Call Customer Service again. Repeated to not cancel. Put on hold, then got disconnected.

Called a 3rd time. Explained all over again. Was put on hold for a lengthy time. They came back on the line and said they would escalate the issue.

Did not hear anything until I got a cancellation notice today.

I had a choice of Amazon or BB to purchase. I chose BB. Obviously a mistake.

This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. Makes me question BB's commitment to customers.

 

Why should I continue to purchase when there is no customer service and orders can be cancelled for no reason?

Welcome to our forums, and thank you for sharing your experience with us.  In my experience, there are few things more disappointing when shopping online than your order cancelling for seemingly no reason.  I’m sorry to hear this seems to be the case with your Columbia Classics collection you ordered from us.

 

As it sounds like you’re aware, if the order you’ve placed with us is placed on backorder, we’ll generally cancel the order if we’re not able to provide it to you within 14 days after the item is placed on backorder.  Once cancelled, we’ll be unable to reinstate the order, and your funds should go back to your original form of payment.

 

While it sounds like this experience has led you to question your future with Best Buy, I do hope you consider shopping with us for your technology needs again, so we might provide you a better experience in the future.
