I bought the deal for Moto X 4th Generation + a Cricket Wireless 3in1 SIM Card Activation Kit + Cricket Wireless $40 Refill Card on March 3, 2019. I tried activiating the phone today but Cricket claimed my SIM card was invalid. After speding an hour on the phone with Cricket, their customer support confirmed the problmem was because Best Buy had never properly scanned the SIM card that was shipped to me and marked it as sold. I had to drive 30 min to local Best Buy, line up, then exchange for a new SIM card. With the new SIM card I was finally able to get Cricket to activate my SIM card and reach to the stage where I can apply the $40 credit to my newly-created Cricket account. Well, guess what? Best Buy apparently has forgotten to activate my $40 Refill Card as well! I already waste a couple of hours on a simple prepaid card, and I am not looking forward to another trip to my local Best Buy. Can I get my refill card activated online? If not, can I just get a refund? This is already beyond ridiculous.

Good morning, silverchair1984,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the Best Buy forum to share your Cricket Wireless purchase experience. It certainly sounds like your purchase didn’t go the way we would hope at all. Ordering online should be a convenience, so I wouldn’t want to go into the store a second time to activate your refill card either in your shoes.
I would like to see what I can do to help. Can you please send me a bit more information? I’ll need your full name, your phone number, and your email address used on your order. To keep your information secure, please send those details in a private message by selecting that option in my signature below this post. I look forward to hearing back!
