Credit card reserved money

Hello everyone,

I ordered ssd (cost 70euros) 22days ago and it says that order is delayed and thats ok i'm waiting i bit longer then expected but that is not what concerns me. I'm getting my money reserved in bank every 6days for 70 euros, started on 08.12 first 70euros, then on 14.02 another 70euros and finaly on 20.12 for another 70euros, is this normal will i get my money back after order arrives or am'i doomed?

Are you talking about Best Buy USA or Best Buy Canada?

Okay so you're aware that BBY products are intended for use in the USA and that they are not intended to be used internationally. Also you can't ship from the USA to international locales, if you attempt to use a frieght forwarder, your order will be cancelled.

 

If the item is intended for a recipient in the USA,Your card will be authorized every X amount of days but other transactions should drop off. You would need to ask your credit card provider for this info.

Hi again, first thank you for helping me understand this thing that drives me crazy... today i got my money reserved again for another 70euros... I dont know what to, i cant cancel order and i'm afraid that all of my money will be gone. Yes item is intended for a recipient in the USA. So if I understand correctly my card will be authorized every 6days for 70euros until order arrives or it's canceled? And what happens if order never arrives, for now it says that it is delayed but for how long, im scared, the longer i wait more money will be reserved on my credit card.. To be clear i just ordered one SSD for 70euros on december 2nd and got my credit card reserved for 280euros together with today.

One more thing, what will happen with all my reserved money, let's say, after order arrives or gets canceled?

As there is an obvious delay in your order if it gets permanently cancelled or delivered then yes the money will be returned regardless of the situation

Thanks a lot, I was afraid that i will lose my money. .. after how long of waiting is automatic cancelation?

It sounds like what you may be seeing is your bank authorizing the funds for this transaction, which depending on your bank, will drop off within either a few days or when the item is shipped or picked up, at which point your card will be charged.
