Yesterday the 6th in the evening I placed an order. Right after doing that I found out that I could not use the item because of size, and tried to cancel the order. It was no more than five minutes from having placed the order.
I got a message "Sorry, something went wrong, please try again later. ". At the second try I noticed that in the details the item was marked as not able to be cancelled.
I tried to cancel several times within 30 minutes. Then after the 30 minutes I sent a message to the seller through the order interface, to ask them to please cancel, but they say they may take 3 days to reply. My credit card has already been charged of course.
Nowhere I saw written that Marketplace orders cannot be cancelled. But if that is the case and the seller ships before seeing my message, I will have to pay for the return shipping on something that should never have left the warehouse in the first place.
Any helpful suggestions?

Are you referring to Best Buy Canada? If I recall, they still have a Marketplace while BestBuy.com does not.
If so, you'll want to reach out to Best Buy Canada at Bestbuy.ca, using any of the options under the contact us link. The team here is only able to assist with Best Buy's US locations.

Yes, thank you, it is BestBuy Canada. I came here through the link on the website, which was bestbuy.ca.
It is good that BestBuy.com does not have a Marketplace anymore, and I hope that BestBuy.ca follows suit... I searched a bit and found out that the seller I am dealing with has awful reviews as a scammer, so I have little hopes to solve this easily now.
Truly a pity that there is no forum for Canada, community experience is always useful. Thank you for your reply!
