I tring to see if there is some way to get a copy of an old online receipt from 2016. I had a Samsung TV fail on me an Samsung is willing to help me out if I can give them a detailed reciept. I can see the purchase in my history, but the "see detail link is missing.
I have call and talked to customer service and they have said there is nothing they can do. Detailed reciepts are only kept for 6 months
Is there any other department that might be able to dig deeper that the average customer service rep ? If I dont get a copy of the reciept I have a $1600 dollar paper weight.

I do my best to keep all of my important receipts in one place just in case I need them in the future, however, they always tend to get lost, or I forget where I put the envelope or box that I keep them in! That being said, our system houses that type of information only for a limited time, and it’s not likely we’d have access to something that was purchased more than two years ago.
