Confusion over Cancelled order

Hi, I ordered a phone during a holiday to Chicago and which was to be delivered to our hotel on next day delivery. I received an e-mail the day after saying that delivery was delayed and no guarantee it would complete prior to us returning home. I attended the W North Ave store and personally cancelled the order - receiving an email confirming the order had been cancelled.

On returning to the UK today I have received another email stating my item is awaiting delivery and tracking shows awaiting UPS collection. I am now worried that the item will be delivered to a hotel we are no longer at and where my Visa card will be debited - transaction currently sitting as pending. Any help appreciated to clear up this confusion.

Re: Confusion over Cancelled order

Hello, Kyellauren01,

Welcome to our forums!  I hope you enjoyed your time in Chicago, and I’m happy to hear you did some shopping with us during your visit!

It sounds like there may be some confusion surrounding your phone order, but you’ve definitely come to the right place for help.  I’d like to look into this order further to make sure we’re offering any assistance we can, however, I’ll need to gather a few pieces of additional information from you, before I’m able to help.  If you could send me a private message with the following:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address

This should be enough information for me to begin my research.  As you can imagine, we’ll want to keep this sensitive information out of the public view of our forums, so be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature.  If you’re accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to “Desktop View” to see this button.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
