Complaint

This is to raise an urgent complaint about two failed deliveries (of the same item) to the New York area. On the second occasion, I have verified via two reliable doormen in my building that no delivery attempt was made.  My building has a 24 hour doorman service.

Your failure to deliver on two separate occasions  has proved to be very inconvenient. I have decided to no longer support Best Buy for future business due to your sub-standard delivery performance. I have reordered my item from Target and  received delivery with absolutely no problems.

Details of the two purchases are as follows:

It is quite obvious that Best Buy has outsourced deliveries to a contractor that makes no attempt to deliver orders to their destination address. It then returns the item to the store falsely claiming, “delivery attempted, recipient not available.”

This depends on who the carrier is. Is it UPS, Or Fed Ex or Ontrac or is this a third party BBY works with to deliver same day items

While I wish your visit to our forums were under more fortunate circumstances, I do appreciate you joining our Community and sharing your experience with us.  I can certainly understand your disappointment with these delivery experiences for your most recent orders, especially considering this appears to have happened with two different orders. 

 

It’s feedback like this that helps us to improve the level of service we’re able to provide our customers, so while it sounds like we missed the mark with these orders and you had to pick them up elsewhere, I’m thankful you took the time to share your experience with us.  Please know I’ll be fully documenting your feedback here at our Corporate Headquarters, to ensure your insights are visible to the appropriate parties, so we might address any coaching or training opportunities that may present themselves.
