Complaint

Howdy,
I wasn't sure how to contact y'all, but I have a complaint. I have now ordered 2 certified refurbished Xbox one elite controllers. I had a competitive event that I needed the controller for, and so I rushed shipping. I was super excited, everything looked great until I tried to use the controller. No audio was coming through the controller to my headphones. I tried a different headset, different batteries, updating the controller, and nothing worked. So, I took the controller to my local best buy, explained the problem, and they said okay we will send you another one. So, I wait the weekend and then get the new controller on Tuesday even though it was too late for the event...I'll just have it for the next one. Well, this one is even worse. It smells strongly of cigarettes, the controller had grime on it that I had to clean off, and the audio jack again doesn't work. I will be stopping by bestbuy again tomorrow to return it.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for connecting with us regarding your recent experience with refurbished Xbox One Elite controllers. Refurbished items should be thoroughly inspected for functionality and appropriately marked for any missing parts or accessories. They're generally a great way to save a bit on your purchase, and tend to be a great value! 

With that said, I'm sorry to hear you received not just one, but two unsatisfactory refurbished Xbox One controllers. While I'm glad to hear the store was able to take care of you when you brought in the controller with the nonfunctional audio jack, I can understand how dismayed you may have been to receive another one in what sounds like worse condition as it wasn't clean and still didn't have an audio jack. I know you mentioned you will be stopping by again to return this. Please keep our Return & Exchange Promise in mind if you're unable to make it in as expected.
