I purchased some items on 11/22/2020 for my husband (who has earlier posted in this forum) to be picked up from the store (cause it was kind of urgent and I could not wait for shipping to home). Automatically, after 10 hours the order was changed to "ship to home" instead of "pick up from store" without me being aware of it. I called Best Buy customer service multiple times to cancel the order and reorder the items again but it did not work cause it was sent to the carrier. The worst part is that even the shipping address is not right and I have to contact the carrier to see if they can deliver me the item(again because of an automatic update from Best Buy). I asked the agent to update the shipping address and he told me Apt number is not a problem (Ihave to transcripts). Guess what, one of the packages was sent back to Best Buy. Called the Best Buy headquarters and they resent me the package which was resent. Still waiting for my other package and hopefully the address is udapted.
Anyways, I had to wait 4 more days to receive the item. This wait has cost me to purchase some items such as headphones, webcam, etc which could be avoided if Best Buy did not automatically update the order.
I am really confused about the current situation that how Best Buy updates the order and does not take responsibility. This never happens with Amazon or other shopping websites. Probably, my last time purchasing any items from Best Buy.

We never intend for an order to change fulfillment methods without it being planned, and this sounds to be a unique situation.
