Complaint!! I screwed because of a delayed order and I am provided no solution.



I planced an order on 11/08/2019 on The item is a smartphone in openbox-excellent condition. I bought it because I am in need of smartphone and the one I am using right now is broken. So basically, I am living in a modern world without a cellphone. BIG NO. The item stated at time of purchase that it would be delivered on 11/13/2019. I even paid extra money and hope it be arrived faster!!! But today, I received a phone message stating it is delayed and can benow be expected sometime between now and the next 30 days!!?? I looked up the order status online on computer, it says the same thing. How could it be possible!???!? If you can't delivered it by that day, DO NOT lie to your customer!!! If it is just a toilet paper, I will just let this go. But it is not. I need the product for urgent use.


I chose to buy it online becuase store pickup is kinda limited in my area. Then I found this great deal online but does not available in my area. So I thought to give it a shot. Now, I am screwed, I could have used the time and money then get one somewhere else. 


I spoke to an agent regarding the status of my order. All they say is that there is nothing they can do, and the only "solution" is to wait for 30days for it to be delivered. No explanation was even provided regarding the delay. When I requested to cancel the order, the agent said she cannot do it.  At this point, I really wish it is available to pick up in store instead, if there is one available. 


This is absolutely one of the worst experiencies with a company and a simple transaction I have ever had. I feel like I spent my money, order a product, then in return, I am only told to wait!? I am basically stuck in the middle of nowhere. I am just captured by the company right now. Cannot cancel, and cannot make things move forward. This is not the only time I purchase on I ordered an iPad pro before and the experience was good even I found there is a defect of the product. But right now.... I really do not know what to say.....


The really ironic thing is that the item on the website right now says I can have it delivered today if order by a certain time.   Yet, I am being told by your support people that I must now potentially wait a month for an item I ordered two days ago with a 2 day delivery promise, because of some unknown shipping or packing error made by your company? 


So my question now is ... How can Best Buy make this right?

It is accurate that if an order has begun our shipping process we will not be able to modify it.
