Changing Payment Method for a Preorder

Hi, I have been told to contact through phone support to change my payment method for a preorder but I can't seem to get a hold of a representative.

 

Is there a way for a representative here to help me with that?

So its 2020.

 

Best Buy still hasn't found or wanting to implement a way to change your payment methods when it comes to preorders. GameStop and Amazon allows you to and furthermore, does not do preauthorization charges.

 

What benefit does the consumer get out of preauthorization charges anyway?

 

I can't get my head wrapped around why to this date they won't implement a way to change payment methods for preorders when their competitors do. I guess money does talk.

I forgot to mention that while you CAN change your payment method for preorders, it has to be done through Best Buy's customer service phone but goodluck getting ahold of someone and hope they don't send you to the wrong department like they did with me three times. My que time ended up being like 3+ hours long.

 

Why again they can't implement a change through your account is beyond me.

So a representative hung up on me after waiting in queue for an hour. Great customer service!
