I purchased a washer and dryer in february on line. The washer has since quit working. when I called for service( ibought the three year extended warranty)I was told that bestbuy doesn't repair the item for the first year. I had to call whirlpool to arrange repairs. When I talked to whirlpool's service,I was told I needed to show them a receipt.Since I bought it online,I had to download it from the web site. But when I tried to do this,I was unable to because the order is listed as in progress. After four days of talking to customer service, and a trip to the store itself, I was told it is impossible to obtain a receipt, or change the order from in progress. Now I have no way of getting my washer repaired. Everyone I have dealt with has been very rude and unhelpful. I will definitely not be dealing with bestbuy ever again in the future. I know this sounds crazy,and I would never have believed it to be possible that in this day and age,a big company like bestbuy can't do asimple thing like provide a receipt to a customer. Well they have lost me as a customer.

I can certainly understand how big of an impact it is when any major appliance stops working, especially when you're having trouble getting it repaired.
