Cannot cancel order even though delivery is a month away?

Order number {removed per forum guidelines} will not let me cancel.


I'm not sure how it can be in a "prepping for delivery" status when the requested delivery date is a month away?


I understand that I can allow the delivery and then return it myself to the store, but then I'm stuck with at least part of the expense in the form of the "setup and haul-away" services I've already paid for and no longer need.


Would also prefer a contactless cancellation over a go-to-the-service-desk return.

Thank you for reaching out and for joining our team here on the Best Buy Forums! While I'm disheartened to hear about the concerns you had with your order, I understand you were wanting to explore what options you may have at his time in regards to cancelling your order. 

We have an article here that outlines the steps to take to cancel your order through your My Best Buy account. Please keep in mind that items cannot be canceled online if they have already been processed for shipping, home delivery or store pickup.
