Cannot Login or Sign Up to BestBuy.com, and Cant Reset password either...

I have been trying for about half an hour to sign in to bestbuy.com to buy about $3000 worth of computer peripherals.  Everytime I try to create an account,I get an error insisting I already have an account and need to sign in.  When I click the Reset Password Link and choose any of the options, it says I get an error that just says Sorry, Something went wrong, please try again.  What do I have to do to fix this?

Welcome to our community!  I sometimes have trouble keeping track of all of my logins for the various accounts I've opened over the years, but nothing frustrates me more than running into issues actually accessing an account or resetting my password.  I'd be happy to see if I can get you all fixed up to place your order.  To get started, please try the following and let me know if any of these steps work:

 

  • Log out of your BestBuy.com account on all devices
  • Disable ad-blockers in your browser or on your computer
  • Disable any VPN you may be using
  • Clear your browser's cookies and cache
  • Close and re-open your browser
  • If prompted, reset your password to something you haven't used before
  • Try using a new browser or device to log in if the above steps don't work right away
