Order canceled for no reason. Item was already in store for pickup.

As title states, my item was already in the store for pickup. I received a confirmed email stating it was ready for pickup and then the day after, it was canceled. No chance it was inventory issues because it would not have been scanned into the store for that email to go out. Cancellation email has no explanation either, just stating I will be credited. Sometimes, I don't understand how Bestbuy gets away with such poor treatment to members/elite members.

 

Given the circumstances, I suspect there is foul play, possibly within the pickup store. The item is definitely a rare one, and you probably could guess what it is. The cancellation wasn't approved by me nor was it known to me until I was notified through email. Could I possibly get any insight on this?

*update* Spoke to 5 different agents, all said can't get info or reason on cancellation, a few said could reorder for me then transferred me only to be told they can't help me. GREAT.

Email stating my order was ready for pickup on Wed Oct 13 @ 7:34PM
Email stating Bestbuy cancelled my order on Thurs Oct 14 @ 8:55pm (after store hours)

 

Why would a cancellation email come after the store is closed?

Best buy canceled my order

Best buy canceled my order for a gaming laptop (ASUS TUF) because they "couldnt verify some of the information", and i did not get my money back to place the order again nor did i get an explanation of which part they couldnt verify :/. If you need proof of my money not returning and my order getting canceled i have screenshots of both of them

Orders got cancelled after 2 hours when it they were ready for picked up..

This morning my orders were ready for pick up, im driving from work and when I was on my way to the store, I received an email they got cancelled. I went back my way because it was still 15 min away because the weather was bad.. Tried contacting customer support via phone and they can't give me a reason why. Multiple representatives tried me to connect to the store manager but won't even bother to pick up. Very unprofessional. If things like this happen they should just cancel the order right away and don't send us emails that it's ready for pick up so that we don't drive in a stormy weather. And for the store manager doesn't even bother to pick up the phone, very unprofessional. How do I report this kind of behavior

Cancelled order but still seeing a pending Authorization on my Mastercard since 10/22

Hello,

 

I placed an order for about $230 with BestBuy.com for pickup and ended up cancelling my original order because I wanted to go in store to physically see some of the products. I cancelled each item on the website and I recived an email cancellation for each one saying that the preauthorizations for the charges would be released. I look at my credit card statement today and it now shows a pending charge of 180ish from 10/22. I did the math and it looks like only 2 out of the 4 items were released from the preauth. Can you please help me out? Do I need to still wait? I just want to make sure everything is ok.

Trying to buy pc for friend in US I am from the UK

Every time I try to purchase the order gets cancelled moment's after with both "
Unfortunately, we had to cancel your order because it has exceeded our orderable quantity limits. Please see our Conditions of Use, which explains order limitations and limited quantities." "Unfortunately, we encountered an issue while processing your order so we had to cancel it." of these reasons and I cannot seem to reslove it in anyway.

My orders keep canceling no matter what

No matter what order I place or what item i get it just gets canceled for my billing is correct it's not my card I called my card company it's clear its just Best Buy blocking my purchases I love best buy and the brand so for the love of God please somebody help me please

Also they told me back office will contact me never did and they said wait 10 days never got back to me I did everything

I'm having the same issue. I bought a laptop online, but meant to add something else to the order. I cancelled it and redid the order and now it says it's confirmed, but a few minutes later I get a text saying "can't verify your order, so we cancelled it." I called customer service and they said to wait a few hours but it's still doing it.

I don't know what to do next...
