Aaron,

You replied to my post quoting contract language. This was deemed the answer to my inquiry and issue. However the contract language proves my warranty should not be cancelled. Best Buy is in breach of the contract by cancelled my warranty. Please escalate to have this reviewed.

Best Buy deemed this warranty “fulfilled”. However the contract defines “fulfilled” and my situation does not meet the defined criteria.

Limits of liability of a contract typically govern by “good faith” attempts to correct the situation by both parties. Best Buy over charged for the repairs- especially considering your published estimates and my locale. This triggered your “limit of liability” due to a massive initial discount provided for a premium product.

I just want my TV fixed. As a previous geek squad employee and a loyal customer this has been the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a retailer.

You stated the answer yourself when you say published estimates. Estimates can vary, they are not set in stone. The price of the repair can be different because part prices fluctuate. I know it is not the answer you are looking for, but Geek Squad determined you have reached your limit. I can't change this fact. You can call (800) 433-5778 to see if they will re-instate your plan.

I have spent so many hours on the phone with Geek Squad. No one has an answer to: "who can uncancel a cancellation." I have spoken to every related department, mutliple on the senior level. No one knows who has decision rights or the ability to uncancel a warranty plan. I am looking for my case to be escalated to corporate level, which you are. I kindly as for review by management, or whoever has the ability to reinstate my plan so the TV can be repaired.

 

No one at 800-433-5778 can escalate to the corporate level. I believe that you have this ability Aaron.I kindly ask that you do so.

Whenever Best Buy provides their official response this is final, there is nothing further that could be done at this time.

That’s not what Aaron said. They directed me to the geek squad number again to find resolve. See above. This certainly can be escalated. I just need to find a person who will actually escalate/ create a claim.

hockeycanuckjc is correct. I have given my final response on this issue. Geek Squad has canceled the plan because it consumed the plans coverage with the two repairs. You can have your tv repaired by Geek Squad, but you would be responsible for the repair price.

Well at least I wasted a decent amount of y’all’s attention and time. Also curious to why the 2019 contract language was update to state full retail price - complaints perhaps? Best Buy & Geeksquad overcharged for billed repairs then voided my warranty, horrible experience. Would not recommend.
