Canceled Order

I ordered something online. It was back ordered and not scheduled to ship until the end of the month. I found it somewhere else fast. I canceled my order and i got an email saying I was all set and would be refunded. I’m pretty sure I was refunded. Then the next day then money was taken out of my account again and still is gone. I want to know why my money was taken again.

Hello there, Avalon_Dusk,

 

I’m glad to hear that you could find your item through another source faster than we were able to ship it, but I can understand your concern about a potential second charge.

 

When you place an order with us using a credit card, we don’t charge you until the order ships or is ready for pick up at the store.  What you were probably seeing was the authorization for the charge on your card.  When your order is cancelled, that authorization should drop off in 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.  Depending on how long your order was sitting there before you cancelled, the original authorization may have dropped, but come back on before you cancelled.

It did! Thank you! The pending charge expired and it credited the money back to my account
