Can't login to or reset password

I cannot login to the site to buy something. just say “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.”


I can't reset my password either. also say “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.”


My account email address is {removed per forum guidelines}


I have used this account for a long time and bought a lot of things.


Please help me find my account or reset my password.

Welcome to our forums!  I found myself in a similar situation not too long ago, and was having trouble regaining access to my account as well.  It took a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue, and I’m hopeful what worked for me will work for you as well.


For starters, the issue could be caused by your account being logged into multiple devices, such as a mobile phone, and a laptop or desktop computer.  If you haven’t done so yet, I’d recommend signing out of your account on any devices you might be using, along with uninstalling and reinstalling your Best Buy app if necessary, as well as clearing your browser history/cache


Another recommendation I can offer, is if you’re accessing our site using a VPN, private browser, or an ad-blocker, this may prevent you from accessing your account.  If you’re using any of these to access our site, I recommend disabling them, and attempting to log in once again.
