Can't Exchange Item

I received Back to the Future 4K from BestBuy.com and the box was a little damaged but the first disc played fine. When I played the second disc it couldn't read halfway through. I tried to return it in store and exchange for a new copy with the receipt but they said that they couldn't since it was already open and they would have to do it online, despite an option to return it to a location was listed.

Thanks for reaching out. It’s never ideal to receive a damaged item. You have followed the proper steps to exchange it for another one per policy. However, we’re sorry to hear the this was not completed at the store. We’d like to take a closer look so this can be made right with you.
