Hi there,
I have a best buy account that contains a warranty, order history, lots of points, etc.
I can login with my username/email and password. However, the 2-factor authentication does not work as it should.
It doesn't give me the option to send a code to my phone number. However, if I reset my password, 2-factor authentication works just fine, and will send a code to my phone number (which works to reset the password).
Unfortunately, I no longer have my backup codes, so I cannot get into my actual account.
It's very interesting though that 2FA will send a code to my phone number and work if I reset my password, however, it cannot send a 2FA code to my phone number when trying to log in.
Can this be fixed in any way? I can verify that the account is mine. This is really troublesome.

Hello, vertpin.
Welcome to the Community Forums! We are happy to have you join us. As someone who enjoys getting rewards for being a My Best Buy member, I can see how not being able to access your account is a less than ideal situation to have occur. I would be happy to take a look.

All the best,
