So my credit card company decided to mail me a new card for no reason (hasnt been lost and not expiring soon). The card number will be the same but the expiration date and code on the back will be different. Of course this is the card I used for my Xbox Scorpio Edition pre order. If I call, will BB be able to update my payment method over the phone? I know in the past you would send an email saying the payment failed and give the buyer 24 hours to update the payment method. But I've also heard that often times people do not get this email and their order is just cancelled. Just wondering what I can do to prevent me losing my pre order. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out regarding your Xbox Scorpio Edition pre-order. I've also had a surprise credit card issued before and it was not a fun surprise having to change all the payment information. I definitely want to help make sure your pre-order is safe and sound so you don't have any issues getting it. I'm happy to help you look into what options are available to get this resolved.
While I am not able to modify any forms of payment over the Forums there is another option. I would recommend contacting our customer service line at 1-888-BEST-BUY(1-888-237-8289) for assistance getting this payment modified. While you should have an opportunity to change they payment method if it fails, I would recommend getting it changed before that happens.

Thanks. I called and the guy was awesome and able to change my payment method to another card. I can see the pending charge on this card and according the cc company everything looks good to go
