Broken Glassware Due to Terrible Packaging & BestBuy Will Not Exchange It. BEWARE!

I purchased a set of Riedel Bravissimo Double Old Fashioned glasses on 12-27-19.  The package was delivered on 1-7-19, the same day I went out of town.  When I returned, I opened the package to discover one of the glasses was broken during shipping, which isn't surprising since there was barely any protective packaging in the box.  When I called customer service, a person who did not speak English as a first language and was very hard to understand told me they would do nothing about it because more than 15 days had elapsed since my purchase.  I will NEVER buy anything from Best Buy again because of this.  Now I have a "set" of seven glasses, not eight.  Shameful! I've attached a link to show the damaged glass just as it appeared when I opened the box.

Are you near a local store? I would contact the store and see if they'd be willing to return it. Regardless of when you bought it - it was delivered on 1/7 so that should be when the return period begins.

Thank you, I am not sure how to transport it to a local store given that there is glass all over but I appreciate your response and will wait for a moderator to address it.

I just want to update that Best Buy has agreed to replace the glasses. I am very satisfied with this resolution. Thank you to everyone who contacted me about the problem.  I WILL SHOP BEST BUY AGAIN
