Brand new camcorder missing parts

Today I purchased a brand new Panasonic - HC-VX870K Camcorder, but it did not come with the AC adapter it claims to come with.


I ordered this product today for one day delivery from Best Buy. I was very excited when it arrived. The packaging all looked crisp and new. I opened the product to find that it was missing the AC adapter plug. I double checked, and the specs on Panasonic's official website state that it should come with one. I am very disappointed that such an expensive product would have an item missing from its box. Furthermore, I purchased this online so that I do not have to leave my house due to the current public health situation.



I tried contact live chat customer service, but the page kept throwing errors. I tried calling customer service, but I was given a current wait time of over 5 hours! I will be calling the store that I ordered from tomorrow to see if they can hold the one they still have in stock. I would be really bummed if I drive all the way out there and they don't have it left. I also really do not want to risk leaving my house.


I would just request a replacement adapter, but I do worry that something may be wrong if it didn't come with one in the first place


I double checked Best Buy's website and panasonic's website, both state it should come with an AC adapter. I even looked up some unboxing videos and every one I watched included an AC adapter.


I am very disappointment to have spent so much money on an incomplete product.
