On 2/7/2021, I put down an order and used 4 gift cards. It took all 4 gift cards and processed the order. Later I received an email saying the order failed, and showed one of the cards failed authorization.
I called bestbuy on 2/8, agent confirmed gift card was cashed by bestbuy for this order. Since this order could not be processed, agent suggested me to cancel the order which I did. All other 3 gift cards were refunded correctly on the spot, except for the one with "failed authorization". I was suggested to wait and call back.
I called back couple days later. This time agent asked where I purchased the gift card. I said its from Amazon and I have all the receipts / confirmations. I was suggested to contact Amazon, which I did. Amazon confirmed all activation were successful and since the original bestbuy order did go through, I believe fund was properly activated by amazon.
After that, I contacted Bestbuy multiple times, all took almost an hour. I tried to explain the situation to multiple agents over and over, and all got various answers. At one time, agent said they would send me a physical gift card as a replacement, but I never received any confirmation. It's been almost two weeks and getting frustrated.
I see the exact same issue is happening to other people on the forum. Clearly, this is an glitch when Bestbuy processed the order - order was processed, funds took from the gift card, but order did not go through and gift card was not refunded. Can someone please help me on this issue?

While refunds are usually processed back to the Best Buy gift cards used on your order within 30 minutes, it sounds like that time frame has since passed.
