BestBuy.com forces me to change my password every day or two. It's annoying!!

This abnormal behavior started two weeks ago.  I tried to log in and received a "your password is incorrect" message.  I knew that was impossible so I tried again and then I was faced with a "reset your password" message.  I would then receive a code to reset my password.  I did it the first time and entered my billing info all over again.  Everything worked great until the next day when the same problem happened. Ever since, I am forced to change my password again and again.  It could last a day or two but then, again, "password is incorrect."  It's getting frustrating and tiring.  I know for a fact that nobody is trying to log into my account.  I also know for a fact that none of my passwords are incorrect.  So, why am I seeing this every day? I need this problem solved, otherwise I will be forcing myself to stop using Best Buy altogether.  I cannot be entering my credit card info every day or two, let alone changing my passwords to something different every day. FIX IT!!

Thank you for letting us know about the difficulties that you are having with your BestBuy.com account. I can absolutely understand how frustrating it is to be told you password is incorrect even when you're sure you are typing it correctly. I know I've had that happen to me before so I am more than happy to help you to try and get this resolved.

 

Typically issues with our website can be solved by clearing your browsers cache. For assistance on how to do this, I would recommending checking this page. If this does not solve your problems, I would also recommend trying a different internet browser.

Nothing of the above worked.  I just tried to log in and it forced me to change my password again!!
