BestBuy.com Ridiculous incompetent FLAW in basic Customer Service - We will be shopping at Amazon.co

Until Best Buy corrects the problem of maintaining the wrong home store location in the website, and not registering updates, I will be shopping at Amazon.  

 

I have given you long enough.  Amazon has same day delivery.  I don't need you incopetent irritating losers.

The store location is based on your ISP and your physical location. As some IP addresses are temporary it is possible your IP address comes from another area close by to what the IP address is located at. It has happened to me many times. I just correct it when I go on the site, no big deal. It's not their fault its an issue with your ISP.

Spot on hockeycanuckjc, I am not assigned a static IP from my ISP so every time the lease renews and my IP changes I have to correct this.  Not just on BestBuy.com, but Wal-Mart.com and HomeDepot.com as well.  If these details were correct in the IP geolocation database, this would not be an issue.

 

A way to avoid this would be to ship the items so they always go to your house.  It's the way Amazon seems to be avoiding this, and no one is the wiser since you can't pick your items up at an Amazon store.
