BestBuy cancelled my order

My wife and I ordered computers from a deal of the day promotion a couple of days ago.  The order was cleared by BestBuy as well as by our credit card company.  Our credit card company even called to verify the purchase due to the high price.  We obviously verified the purchase and received emails from Bestbuy Indicating our 5 computers were ready for pick up at the Best Buy in Nashua NH.  My wife put herself as pick up person but as I was going to be in the area we switched the pick up person on the order through the Bestbuy Account.  When I went to pick up the computers I was told trhe computer were there and ready but our order was cancelled and thet could not tell me why at the store.  They advised me to call BestBuy.  After talking to the 1st customer rep he told me that there was an issue with the credit card and he would need to verify the purchase.  The credit card we used was my wife who he asked me to call on a conference call. He asked her to verify the purchase and credit card which she did.  After all that I was told I would have to use a different credit card for the purchase. Then I was told they could not honor the price as the order was cancelled. They offered to give me 20% off the original price of the product which was more expensive then the deal of the day price. So I told them to honor the price with the original credit card which we used and they again refused  They could not still tell me why the order was verifed.  I asked for a supervisor who just kept telling me they would not honor my original order which was already verified by Bestbuy, our credit card and our credit card company.  I am very dissatisfied with how Bestbuy has treated us. I have been purchasing products from Bestbuy since they opened. I even built a $15000 home theatre using all equipmemnt bought at Bestbuy.  All my major and minor electronic purchases have always been made at Bestbuy.  This experience has really soured me on Bestbuy especially considering how I have been such a loyal customer for so many years. I have been an Bestbuy Elite member since 2010.  I doubt I can be loyal Bestbuy customer in the future based on this experience.

I'm sorry for any confusion about your recently placed order. Once an order has been cancelled, it cannot be reinstated. We may be unable to extend sale pricing on an order after the offer has expired. The person whose name appears on the payment method used to place the order is welcome to connect with Best Buy with any additional questions that they may have. We may be unable to provide a resolution that differs from the one that was provided over the phone.

I am in the same boat. The laptop I ordered last weekend is no longer on sale, the order was cancelled at 1AM, and for the first time in my life I am considering shopping somewhere other than Best Buy for a new laptop. I hope they can do something for you SrikantMuddana.
