Best refuses to refund for item that was received even after UPS claimed product was not found

To Best Buy Corprate:

 

On July 23, 2020 I was supposed to receive a shipment from Best Buy consisting of an iPad 12 that the tracking states delivered, left at door, unfortunately item was not left at door upon arriving home there was nothing at the door.

I called Best Buy Reported  item not delivered,  Best Buy stated they would do an investigation, best by concluded item was delivered and left at door, and that UPS stated it was signed for and wouldn’t be refunding me and they instructed me to call and file a claim with UPS in order for UPS to conduct an investigation.

 

File claim with UPS on 7/28/2020 UPS concluded package was not found, UPS made several attempts to contact shipper  to fill out form for refund, shipper never responded, I also tried to contact shipper (Best Buy) every week since UPS concluded their investigation, UPS email Best Buy a form to be signed in order for UPS to refund Best Buy for the product and therefore Best Buy refund me.

I have spoken to several people who stated that UPS informed them during the investigation Best Buy conducted that UPS stated that the package was signed for, which is a lie cause UPS conducted an investigation that states package could not be found, and UPS states there’s no information of package being signed for.

Best Buy refuses to submit form that UPS emailed them more than 3 times, I also called Best Buy again on 8/19/2020 to be told rudely that their not submit the form back to UPS so therefore I will not be refunded.  This is utterly ridiculous on Best Buy’s end, and if they think there keep my money for an item not received their out of their mind.

At my last straw I did file a police report because I am not going to continue this nonsense any longer, and want my refund. Other wise I will be contacting my lawyer and will make sure he makes it a public issue.  Below is all my correspondence to Best Buy and UPS. I’m also including the UPS claim decision and the police report and expect that this will be handled accordingly, so I may get my refund expedited as this situation has gone on long enough.

Spoke to Cindy UPS 7/30/2020 they emailed Claim form to Best Buy on July 29 and July 30th, Best Buy hadn’t responded to form that’s supposed to be sent back to UPS

As of 8/19/20 item was not found, and Best Buy concludes, item was received and signed for ,  UPS states package was not found, Best Buy refusing to refund item amount.

What support specialist, nobody has contacted me every week since the end of June I have talk to several people with no solutions and still no refund even after the ups claim and the police report I understand y’all lost business during the pandemic but that’s no reason to not refund the 1,249.99 that is clearly owed to me after the ups investigation found the package could not be located and Best Buy refuses to send back the forms signed to UPS that UPS sent them to initiate the refund.
