Best Buy refund taking months on item I returned months ago

I have been waiting for my refund for an item I purchased in March at the beginning of this year and the item I received was the wrong item given to me. I ordered AirPods Pro and was given AirPods Pro but the seal was already broken and it shouldn’t have. I bought them brand new and when I opened the box, the AirPods did not look new and I immediately returned it. I have been waiting on a refund or at least a replacement for this but every time I call Best Buy customer service, they always say the same thing that they will escalate the issue so the back office can take a look into it and contact me back within 48 hours but that’s happened every single time I have called and nobody calls me from Best Buy after I call in to customer service and it’s getting so frustrating. I just want to get my money back or a replacement that is what I paid for because this is ridiculous. Now when I call Best Buy customer service, I am called after waiting for an hour since the wait time is so long and on top of that, I get put on hold for the representatives to look into the issue but they don’t even come back to the phone so I am just sitting on the call with no music and just silence until the call drops I’m guessing because the representative ended it. This is just so upsetting and I need help on this issue because it’s not right and I just want my money back. I am literally so over this. It’s been almost 4-5 months that this has been unaddressed. Please somebody get back to me, it’s the worst feeling to be on the blind side of things

This isn't very common, what is the status of the tracking number for the return?  Does it show that ti was delivered to our returns center?

It does show on the status of the order that it was delivered to the return center and that refund is in transit and waiting to be processed.

The moderators might take a couple of days to reach this post, they answer in the order they are posted, but this does seem like something they can look into.
