I placed an order with Best Buy. The item was not released at that time. Meanwhile I have a scheduled vacation. I arranged a vacation hold with FedEx for that period. Best Buy later shipped the item. After FedEx had been holding the package at their local facility, Best Buy apparently instructed FedEx to override my vacation hold and dropped the package at my house's front door on 5/31/19. I still have several days of vacation. I am pessimistic the package will still be there when I return, though. A call to Best Buy proofs useless. The call center person had no solution. This has been a very frustrating experience.
Hopefully someone here has some idea what to do, if my pessimism are justified.
