Best Buy not honoring price match and now item is outside of my return policy

I tried requesting a price adjustment on the website and it said my item was not qualified for a price match. That did not make sense to me as I was still within my return window. I reached out via this forum and was told I would get the price adjustment. I paid most of it via a reward certificate and a small amount on my credit card. I was told the refund would go to my card but I would not be issued a refund in my points. I explained that the amount charged to my card was less than the difference in price I am requesting for the adjustment. I have not gotten a response and have followed up Mutiple times and still no response. Now my item is outside the return window. Between fighting for my money that is owed to me, taking away elite plus memberships, shortening return windows, and horrible customer service, I don’t see the benefit of shopping at Best Buy as opposed to Amazon

Was this item part of a special sale? Like a Flash Sale or sale only available to certain people?

No it was just a lower price. It has been that price last week and this week

This has still never been resolved.  Via pm, I was told that they were going to reach out to my local store to allow the price match.  I got to the store and they refused as it was past the return date.  Such a waste of time and horrible customer service.
