Best Buy Scammed Me Right Before Thanksgiving

I'll attempt to keep this brief:

 

I ordered a NEW Sony A7SIII from bestbuy.com on November 17, 2022.

Yesterday, November 23, I recieved a USED Sony A7III (wrong body, $2000 less than an a7Siii) inside of an obviously not-new and opened A7SIII box. I immediately called returns and exchanges and was told that a replacement was available at a location 1 hour away in Orlando. I drove to Orlando for the manager to tell me that my bestbuy.com account had a hold on the exchange and I would be unable to take the correct body home or make the exchange. After 5+ hours on the phone yesterday with multiple different "representatives" from Best Buy, I am now stuck eating the cost of someone's blunder. 

 

Now it's Thanksgiving and my next opprotunity to go to a different location and beg somebody to help me will be on Black Friday. 

 

I run a business, and booked clients around recieiving the CORRECT camera body. Now I am potentially losing thousands of dollars of business due to Best Buy's incompetence. 

 

This is terrible customer service. A customer should NEVER have to pay the price of an employee's failure to check their exchange. But even then: why is this company shipping clearly USED/open boxes to customers who pay $3.5K+ for a NEW camera? This would've all been avoided if I would've been shipped the factory new camera that I paid for. Instead, somebody tried to be slick and send me a clearly used box, knowingly OR unknowingly containing a product valued 2K less than what I paid for. 

 

I would love to talk to an actual human-being who can get me a refund or, better yet, get me the product that I paid for.
