Best Buy Marketplace - Scam?

Hello, 

    This has been the biggest headache I have ever had with a transaction. I purchased a gaming chair for my son online for his birthday, when opening the box we had found multiple scratches on the seat of the chair. I emailed your seller back instantly claiming I wanted the piece exchanged and they instantly directed me to the manufacturer, not even trying to help given that the item was just received. 

    After telling them that will not work since I had just purchased it from them they said they would look into getting a replacement seat. After not hearing from them for days I wanted my money back. I never trusted buying something as expensive online in the first place and to have this happen it completely ruins my thoughts of EVER buying anything online. 

    Now they are saying that the item cannot be refunded???? It hasn't even been 10 days and they shipped me a defective product.  I do not know if this is how you accept anyone into your marketplace but I have been robbed for my money and embarassed infront of my son and husband. I want my money back ASAP this is unacceptable.

I see the screenshots were removed, I do not know how to upload an image onto this chat since it asks me for a "source". Please let me know how to provide you with this or upload the images.

Welcome to the forum! Purchasing online is generally a great experience. I know I'm hesitant to shop online for some items, but it can truly be convenient when I don't have time to run around. 

With that said, our team primarily works with our USA stores and customers, and it seems you may be a Best Buy Canada customer, as we no longer have Marketplace. I have forwarded your information to our Best Buy Canada team, however. You should receive a response within 3-5 business days at the email address you used in your forum registration.
