I'm working on an order and one of the gift cards I have (which I purchased and have proof of) got some of the numbers messed up- what do I do?
I need to get a replacement number for it, and I really would like to put it towards a rather expensive order I'm working on- can they deduct it afterwards? Thanks.

If this is a physical card that you bought in store at Best Buy, as long as you have the receipt and the card has been properly activated, the store should be able to swap it out with a new one.
Otherwise calling 1-888-716-7994 with proof of purchase would result in a new card being mailed to you.
One other thing to note, if this was a card purchased in place like a Mall , Grocery Store, etc it may be a third party distributor in which you have to contact them for a replacement.

Thanks for reaching out about the gift cards that you purchased. I know it can be tough to get the parts scratched off to properly reveal the number and pin codes on gift cards, and I can understand wanting to get this fixed so that you can use your card.
For a future suggestion, I've often found that peeling off the part that needs to be scratched works well for many cards that I've received. If not, feel free to send me a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and details about the gift card, such as the gift card number if you can see that (please do not provide the PIN) and where you purchased the card.

the number you gave me says they can only check the balance and transaction history of a card....
they're gonna have to transfer me for a replacement...

I do not see a service pin receipt -I tried to send you order number but I was getting error messages and then it said I couldn't send you a private message anymore now.
