Bad delivery by best buy

I ordered items from two different websites three days ago. The one not from Best Buy was delivered today even though that website had not promised delivery until the end of this week and the item was shipped from 1,000 miles away. The item I ordered from Best Buy was promised yesterday and was being shipped from 20 miles away and still hasn’t arrived. Not only has it not arrived, but now I no longer have a delivery date only “pending”. This is a very common item that I was giving as a birthday gift. The birthday is today and I have no gift to give, very embarrassing. How is it that Amazon can get shipping right all the time and Best Buy can’t? Lesson learned. I don’t blame the shipping company, I blame Best Buy for not keeping the date that was promised.

Welcome to the Best Buy forums!  We appreciate that you’ve chosen Best Buy for your online purchase, and I think everyone appreciates when an order arrives by the date given on the order.


However, please know that those dates are an estimated time of arrival, and can be impacted by product availability, level of shipping chosen, or other shipper concerns.  Certainly, having products arrive after that estimated is not our goal, and we do everything we can to make sure all orders arrive on time.  You can find more information on our Shipping Costs & Timing here.
