Unfortunately, My Bestbuy.com order was lost in transit. I contacted best buy chat and they refunded the amount for the Ipad pro but they did NOT refund the amount for the 2-year applecare plan that I purchased from them. Best Buy informed me I needed to contact Apple directly for a refund. So I contact Apple directly and the rep advises me it is within 30 days of purchase so Best Buy needs to be the one to do the refund on the applecare plan. So I go back to bestbuy and get the same answer to go directly through Apple.
I am so confused! I have done returns on apple products in the past and best buy refunds the product and the applecare plan with no issues but in the case of lost transit they can only refund the product and not the 129 I paid for the 2 year applecare service. It just doesn't make any sense for me to have to go through all this just to get a refund on the applecare service I purchaed directly from best buy.
