After looking across forums this seems to be a trend with Shipt, a shopper gets assigned, shows up for pickup and then the order is cancelled immediately. In my case I ordered a replacement TV on a Saturday evening and saw there was one available for delivery on Monday. I thought this was great until running into the above situation with Shipt and finding I can't change the delivery option to pickup. Now that the kids aren't tagging along I could drive down, slide the tv in the back of the wagon, and head home a happy customer, but instead I am stuck in delivery limbo where it is now marked as "delayed" and may or may not be delivered within the week and if not then the entire order is cancelled. What a terrible partnership that tarnishes what was left of the only big box store's reputation.
Any way folks have found to change the delivery option to pickup, or am I better off just going down and purchasing (or more likely finding a comparable option at a different store after this) and cancelling the first order?

I was in the same situation. One thing I found out is that the order is literally "canceled" even if your best buy order status is still alive there. I contacted the chat service and then changed it to pick up, but it never works!!
So I went to the nearby store and asked what happened for Shipt, he said when the shopper doesn't appear, it automatically cancels the order. Maybe the same thing happened to you with this ridiculous system.
Don't expect it to be delivered, it will never happen. It's already been canceled by Shipt. Whatever you do, it never works.
Never buy something when the delivery option is using SHIPT.
