Account flagged from online purchases

My Best Buy Account has been flagged from online purchases, I called several times because I never received my order that I ordered. Now my account has been flagged from further purchases that I make online. I have been a customer for years, Elite Plus, TotalTech Member and also have been a Best Buy Employee. Please assist with this issue and unflag my account. Thank you.

Just so you know too many claims of items not received / refunded can lead to your account being restricted. Amazon does the same thing.

Thanks for the info. This is my first occurrence of items not received. Highly frustrating because now I’m only allowed to make purchases in store.

Is it possible to get your account unrestricted? I’ve called primary support multiple times and they escalated my case to the back end team. Their resolution was for me to talk to the GM at my local bestbuy. The GM said he has no access to un-restricting peoples accounts. He told me to call primary support. I’m getting the run-around.

The store teams do not have any way to do this, are you sure you heard them correctly?  Typically, when the determination is made that they cannot allow you to purchase online they inform you that you can "Visit a local store to shop" or something along those lines.

Yes, I heard them correctly. Yes they will allow me to shop inside the store. However, from now on, let’s say I want to buy a large TV or an appliance and set it up for delivery, they automatically cancel my order even if the purchase is made inside the store. So now, unfortunately I’m gonna have to get a U-Haul just to get the items.

This aligns with what I stated above, I thought that was the case.

Transporting a larger than usual TV comes with risks. If it's a concern a UHAUL truck may not cut it as these things are fragile. 

 

If you are concerned about damage have a licensed and bonded moving company help you with the transport to your house. That way if something happens to the TV you can file a claim against their insurance. 

 

Once your have posession of the TV you can setup Geek Squad services for professional installation if you like.
