My account email address was changed on June 25th, I didn't think of anything of it but when I looked at it earlier today I didn't have access to it. Instead, for some reason there was another persons email address in my autofill and the password was there too but it was dotted out. I was able to log in and my cards were there and my addresses were there but there was another persons who I don't know. It looks like they were using fake emails and vccs and they bought over $8000 worth of items. My cards on it were al expired so I didnt have to worry about that. I still remember the email address and when I tried to reset my password, it said my email didn't exist. I'm not sure how to get my account back so please help! I had to make another email address to post this.

Hi there, ajdomingo,
Welcome to our Best Buy forum community! While I wish you were connecting with us under happier circumstances, I'm glad you took the time to bring this to our attention!
I can imagine how concerning it would be to see that someone else's email has become linked to your account instead of your own, as well as to see that thousands of dollars’ worth of orders are now showing as linked to your account. While I'm happy to hear that the cards linked to your account were expired so they weren't used for the purchases, I know this situation is still less than ideal.
Can you use the "Private Message" option below to send over your full name, phone number, email, and mailing address, so we can verify your account and get the email address updated back to yours? Once we do that, you can update the password on your My Best Buy account so that this shouldn't happen again.
