Oh my god. I have had the worst customer service experience through bestbuy.com.
So my situation is, I had $489.97 in gift cards spread out over nine gift cards. On February 1st, I placed an order on a Xbox One X Fallout 76 Bundle which was on sale for $449.99 with a promo for a $76 gift card with purchase.
I placed the order and everything seemed fine, but then I got an email saying one of the gift cards I used failed authorization. After spending over an hour on the phone with a customer service representative we discovered that the gift card was faulty and a balance had never been loaded onto it. I was able to get a replacement shipped from the store I bought the gift card from.
However, the hold on my order was only for 24 hours and it would be cancelled before the replacement gift card arrived to me. The representative I talked to assured me he would override the automatic 24 hour cancellation and the promo on my order would be honored.
Today I saw that the console bundle was further on sale for $399.99, so I thought I could just get a price match refund to expedite my order going through. However, when I was using the online chat with a representative, my order was automatically cancelled, contrary to what the phone agent had promised.
Furthermore, two of my gift cards were never refunded, so I lost $133.74. Not to mention I lost out on the $76 gift card promo that was only good for last week.
Even though I escalated this two times to a supervisor, no one was able to help me. They were all very polite but that is worthless if they do not have the ability to actually solve problems. Honestly, why even have customer service if you can't help the customer.
Well, this is my last ditch effort to see if someone can actually help me. If a representative reaches out to me I can provide a case number and my cancelled bestbuy.com order number.

Welcome back to the Best Buy Community forums. I’m sorry to hear about all of the issues you’ve run into with this order.
Generally speaking, we would not be able to combine the lower price with the previous free gift card under our Price Match Guarantee. We also would not be able to un-cancel a cancelled order.
That said, I’d like to check into your order to see what we can do to help here, including getting those gift cards reloaded.
