Listen, I've talked to multiple reps through Order Support and so forth. Every single one claims that they cannot cancel the order or switch it to pick up in store. As the order is already "ready to be shipped." But then follow up by saying "we are just waiting on stock to ship it, we just don't know when we will have stock." So, if no stock by December 14th, we will refund you."
I know for sure there's nothing you can do. I think this is a sick shady business practice by Best Buy. To sell a product that they KNOW, they don't have stock on and refuse to refund its customers, until 2 weeks from now. Then have to wait another week for the funds to be returned to the account. By then, it's Christmas. And Guess what? The kids don't have their electronics. They don't have anything, because my $1200 that I saved to buy this, is sitting in Best Buys pockets. A store has one in another state. I am WILLING to drive to another state to make sure my kids get their electronics, but not a single Best Buy employee or support representative can switch the product to "pick up in store." Best Buy has screwed me out of $1200 and Best Buy has screwed my kids out of a Christmas present. I am DONE with Best Buy.
