Yeah this is ridiculous why have the add to cart button if its backordered or sold out even. I could of got this from amazon or newegg and had it shipped already, but instead I was waiting and waiting and see if the progress would update which was a mistake i think im going to cancel this and buy elsewhere from a company that ships the product.

I'm in the same boat as others and pretty annoyed.
I placed my order shortly after it went live and it said the item was in stock. Now its been sitting at "getting it ready" for who knows how long?
Some news or general idea when will it finally ship would be nice.
If a item says "In-stock" when a customer orders, the item should ship asap not to be charged then backordered without question without any sort of ETA as well.

I guess I might have possibly made a mistake by ordering from Best Buy. I ordered a Ryzen 9 3900x Sunday at 9 AM because it was the first online store to open sales. The page did not say "Getting more soon" like it does now and my order does not say "delayed" on it and it never has. So why have they not processed it and shipped it yet? I ordered it as quick as possible because I needed it as soon as possible. Sadly I couldn't even upgrade the shipping from the free ground shipping and now the only way to contact someone is through the phone or they send you through hurtles to find anything else like a support/compaint forum.
Also, AMD is selling their new CPU's and GPU's with a free PC 3-month Xbox Game Pass and a day later Best Buy offered it also. So I guess I just get screwed over on that one but no biggie. It kind of seems like I got looked over honestly.
Hopefully they'll ship it today because canceling it isn't much of an option since every other company is sold out right now and then it's a crap shoot of hoping I see an opening. I just expect more from a company like this.

I ordered this product at 8:59am EST Sunday, July 7. Similar to most people, I have not even recieved any information regarding the status of the order.
If I get a canned response like this:
Good afternoon, everyone!
Having a great processor for your computer definitely helps things run smoothly. This AMD Ryzen 3900x looks incredible, so I can understand why you would all be eager to get your hands on this, and would be reaching out for an update myself if I were in your shoes. At this time, please know that we will be fulfilling orders as soon as more stock is available. I would encourage you to keep an eye on your order status and email inboxes for any updates that may come your way.
THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION.
How about we get a real answer? Like, Oh we have them backordered, we'll get a shipment of X qty and ship your orders by XX/XX/XX date?
This is leaving a bad taste in the mouth for me about Best Buy.

This is the official word:
"At this time, please know that we will be fulfilling orders as soon as more stock is available. I would encourage you to keep an eye on your order status and email inboxes for any updates that may come your way."
It's clear that they're backordered, you'll get updates on your orders as updates are available. Constrained product releases always have challenges, providing you with dates that turn out to be inaccurate due to the product constraints will only make it worse. That's why Tasha-BBY provided the answer she did.

I appreciate your response. The problem I think most of us are having litters in the fact that the website did not list the orifice as "available soon" or "back ordered.". The listing literally said "In Stock" when I purchased the item. If the listing would've said otherwise, in sure expectations could've been managed but this is clearly not the case.
